Since 2002, the HFTP Americas Research Center has been tracking trends and publishing the HFTP Compensation and Benefits Survey. The purpose of this survey is to assist industry executives in their daily functions, whether it be setting compensation levels, budgeting for the following year, or analyzing staffing levels.

HFTP committees and councils provide guidance and leadership to the association assuring that HFTP remains at the top of its league. The councils and committees are organized into two engagement levels. Click here to review the engagement levels and councils below to help determine which would be the best fit for your involvement.Each task force, committee and council is aligned with an objective that supports the long term strategic plan for HFTP. To ensure that each group is appropriately resourced, HFTP volunteer submissions will be used to match volunteers with groups that best serve their interests, abilities and time availability.Engagement Level I:Requires members to attend a face to face meeting, participate in numerous conference calls throughout the year, and provides the potential for public speaking opportunities. This is our highest level of engagement and will require that your schedule and resources allow you to fully participate. HFTP Las Vegas Chapter Hosts Successful First Meeting of 2018

Nearly 40 hospitality professionals in the Las Vegas area gathered on February 1, 2018 at the Tommy Bahamas Restaurant for a social event and presentation about cyber investigations. The HFTP Las Vegas Chapter event was open to all active members and industry guests. Guest speaker Michael Hill, FBI computer scientist, is an experienced and accomplished professional in cybersecurity, cyber investigations and information technology. Hill's career spans nearly 30 years in federal law enforcement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and he is currently a computer scientist assigned to the Las Vegas division. Hill has experience in implementing cyber security policies and procedures, risk management assessments, threat assessments and system administration.
